What is TAPA certification?

TAPA is an international organisation that defines security standards designed to protect high-value goods throughout the supply chain.

It is based on several sets of requirements:

• FSR – Facility Security Requirements
  Security requirements for warehouses and logistics facilities.
• TSR – Trucking Security Requirements
  Standards applicable to the road transport of goods.
• PSR – Parking Security Requirements
  Security requirements for parking areas used by transport vehicles.

These standards require concrete measures such as access control, video surveillance, documented procedures, incident management, regular audits and staff training.

TAPA certification is not based on self-declaration. It relies on a structured audit process and verifiable requirements.

Securing high-value goods has become a strategic priority for transport and logistics companies. Cargo theft, intrusions, diversions, supply chain disruptions... The risks are real, while customers' requirements are becoming increasingly demanding.
