MARIONNAUD

Marionnaud is strengthening the long-term security of its network of stores across France.

TALK TO AN EXPERT

With nearly 400 stores across France, Marionnaud must maintain a consistent level of security across its retail network, protecting its employees, customers and merchandise against increasing retail security risks.

Challenge

Marionnaud needed to upgrade a varied range of security equipment deployed across several hundred sites, while ensuring continuity of operations across its stores. The challenge was threefold: to modernise intrusion detection and video surveillance systems, unify technical standards at a national level, and strengthen incident response capabilities, particularly through the introduction of video detection. All of this required the support of a partner capable of designing, deploying, maintaining and operating the system.

Solutions implemented

1 - Unified safety system

Scutum France has supported Marionnaud in standardising and modernising its security equipment, based on open and scalable architectures that guarantee technical consistency throughout the network.

2 - Modernisation of intrusion and video systems

Existing systems have gradually been replaced by IP equipment, enabling better integration between intrusion and video surveillance, and making it easier to process events in real time.

3 - Centralised video alarm

The introduction of video detection has strengthened our ability to monitor and respond to incidents, providing real-time visibility and supporting faster, more informed decision-making by remote operators.

4 - Moving towards personal protection

Scutum is now incorporating lone worker protection and in-store anti-social behaviour solutions into its portfolio, in response to changing risk profiles and the increase in anti-social behaviour incidents.

We've been working with Scutum for several years, and we appreciate their reliability, efficiency and the technical expertise of their teams. The people they deal with are always pleasant and professional. Our projects run smoothly, particularly the modernisation of our systems and the roll-out of video doubt detection in all Marionnaud shops in France.
