Different Systems Explained
Wireless intruder alarm systems use radio or Wi-Fi signals to communicate between sensors and the control panel. They detect movement or breaches and trigger alerts without the need for physical cabling, making them a flexible and modern solution.
Hardwired systems, on the other hand, connect all components directly to the control panel using cables. This creates a stable and consistent connection, often preferred for larger or more permanent installations where reliability is critical.
Both systems perform the same core function—detecting intrusions and triggering alerts—but differ in how they are installed and operated.
